Learning and Assessment Approach

Delegates are required to complete a combination of self-study, using the course manual and a range of distance learning resources that will be provided. Learners are also encouraged to undertake additional independent research, such as exploring relevant topics online, to enhance their understanding.

There will be regular contact with the instructor via webinars, during which delegates can discuss topics, ask questions, and receive personalised guidance.

These sessions also enable the trainer to assess each learner’s knowledge and progress, ensuring they are ready to move on to subsequent modules and, ultimately, the final assessment.

Assessment is conducted through a portfolio of evidence and a micro-teach session, which will take place via video conferencing. This approach ensures that learners can demonstrate their competence and teaching ability in a supportive and flexible online environment.
