Highfield Level 2 Award in the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) (RQF)

Aim

This course is designed to provide employees who work in a manufacturing, cleaning, healthcare, transport and utilities environment with the correct level of COSHH training.

Everyone in the workplace has a responsibility to undertake the necessary and relevant Health and Safety training.

Course Duration 

To complete this course delegates are expected to undertake a recommended minimum of 5 hours guided learning.

Course Content

This course provides delegates with understanding of:

• Legislation relating to hazardous substances in the workplace.

• How risk assessments contribute to the safe use of hazardous substances.

• Precautions and procedures necessary to ensure that risks associated with hazardous substances are properly controlled.
